Well yesterday Emily had her 1 month checkup. She’s healthy and doing great. Although she’s developed colic and because of it has become spoiled we spend a lot of time trying to get her to quit fussing. I can’t believe it’s been a month though! Here are the results from the doctor.
*Weight at birth… 8 pounds even.
Weight at 1 month… 11 pounds 7 ounces
she’s gained 3 1/2 pounds
she is in the 95th percentile for weight….our butter ball!
*Length at birth… 20 1/4 inches long
Length at 1 month… 21 3/4 inches
she grew 1 1/2 inches
she is in the 75th percentile for her length…same percentile as Ethan at this point.
So it’ll be interesting to see what happens. She’s already holding her head up wonderfully. She’s scooting around her crib now and hates being in any one place for much time (the same as Ethan was) we’re thinking she’ll be a quick crawler too if she continues the way she is.

And a month, already? Wow! Time flies. Weren't you just whining that you wanted her to come?!
What a little cutie! You've gotta make her quit growing so fast! Sorry about the colic. That's no fun. Caleb went through a bout with that too. NO fun! But it passed after a couple months and he was as good as new! Hope her belly calms down soon!
