Well I decided to try a recipe I got from the show "Jon and Kate plus eight" it's a cute show. Well for valentines day Kate tried making Edible playdough The kids loved it especially since it was edible! It consists of Equal parts of honey, peanut butter, and powdered milk, then add however much flour to get it to the consistency you want. Ethan had fun and loved eating it the best though! Yep his first playdough adventure, I wonder what a bummer it will be when he uses the normal playdough and it doesn't taste good! Oh well we'll find out eventually!
Then on Saturday we went to visit Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Mike at their campsite in Fort Gaines where Ethan got to try out his new Spongebob fishing pole, He would have had a fish is very first cast but daddy wasn't paying attention and the fish got away. The bobber hardly hit the water and it was going under. But no worries the second case he caught his first fish! He couldn't get enough of looking at him in the tank they had on board for the fish. After that we ate hotdogs and Ethan helped cook his first meal over the fire. Followed by the highlight of his day, his first boat ride, He loved it and he even drove, Grandpa let him have full reign of the steering wheel he thought that was cool! The we stopped for a bit more fishing and Ethan helped Uncle Michael reel in a small bass. Even Butchie wanted to check out the fish. We let it go again because it was too small to legally keep. Then we headed back to the campsite. Ethan really took to Michael and wanted to be doing what he was doing. Ethan then went on his first nature hike, and by the time we left he was EXHAUSTED. He was asleep within minutes of being in the car.
The crew fishing.
Ethan watching his bobber bounce around.
Once they reeled it in.
Check out that whopper! (if you can't see it it's by Michael's shoe)

Grandpa showing Ethan how to drive.
Ethan took over the driving. (notice Ethan really is driving, Grandpa wasn't holding the wheel.)

Adorable! Looks like you all had a great time! Hope you all had a Happy Easter, too!
I've been wanting to try that playdoh recipe for years now and never have gotten around to trying it out. I'll have to try it!
Looks like you had loads of fun on the water. My kids have been bugging me to take them fishing for a long time now.
