Just some updates

DANNY
Well what to say about Danny. He's still working at the Tech College, He is currently up in north GA for some work related classes. But he returns tomorrow sometime. YAY. He still hasn't seen the table I bought! (well other than pictures on here!)He still loves his computer games even though doesn't get to play them much. He has a son who adores him (and he adores Ethan even more) and they get along way too well. It's quite scary they actually egg each other on causing one to do something rude at the dinner table, or Danny is busy teaching Ethan how to torment me! Believe me he is succeeding. Despite his obnoxious ways I love him WAY too much. Although I tease him that its a good thing I don't love him for his hair! (yes Danny I had to put something about that in! So tough!) :) He loves the Honda Ridgeline, and has discovered his love of dark chocolate covered raisins (YUCK!) LOVE YA DANNO!

ETHAN
Well Ethan has been changing alot. He is now wearing 24-2T pants, and 3-4T shirts. He is also wearing size 8 shoes. He is starting to really try to talk now. He had always understood EVERYTHING we said to him but never cared to try talking much. (Just like his daddy was, Danny didn't talk much until age 3 and then just started to talk sentences) Well Ethan's vocab is now up to: (most of which has been in the last week- week and a half!)
"bah" (for sheep)
"ohh ohh" (for "choo choo")
"wee oooh weee oooh" (for firetruck)
"mamma"
"daddy"
"boo boo" (for bug)
"boom" (for any loud noise or if you ask him what thunder says)
"vroom"
"uh oh!" (which he says anytime he drops or even throws something on the floor)
"broom"
"bu-bye"
"hello"(for hello and he also calls phones hello's) and "hi"
"moo" and "meow"
he tries to say "i love you " which sounds kinda like "i ub oooh"
"eba" (for vega)
"tock tock" (for clock...aka tick tock)
"boo" (boots)
and a few more that unfortunately have slipped my mind but he does many non verbal signs too instead of words (like wiggling his nose to refer to mice, sticking out his tongue and pointing at it to refer to wanting a drink, etc.)

Ethan loves trains right now (yes he still loves phones too don't worry!) He just got himself a new Thomas the train watch which he loves along with his new Thomas the train book. He has become very particular about many things, if a drawer has something sticking out he will uh oh it and then fix it, the toilet seat has to be down (which isn't too much of a problem anyway) the washer and dryer door have to be closed (which can be a problem when my hands are in them trying to do laundry...trust me it hurts!) certain drawers have to be closed, my phone and keys have to be in their right spots, the microwave door has to be closed (doesn't matter if your putting food in or taking it out it will get closed on hands...which also hurts! :) ) He is beginning to discover he likes certain clothes and wants to wear certain shoes. He's growing up so fast! He also has done a big thing. Tuesday night he actually went pee in his potty TWICE and he's the one who told me he needed to! I haven't gotten him to do it since (although he has succeeded in peeing on the floor twice and then saying "uh oh" and pointing at it while I cleaned it up!) So it's one step closer to no more diapers. (until the next one!) I'm not trying to push him, I'd love the less diaper idea but I'm waiting till he's ready and I'm thinking he's getting close! He knows what to do with his potty and how to do it but it's getting him to sit still long enough to do it!

STEF
Well not much here. I am loving being a stay at home mom, I love my family and couldn't be more proud of my little man! (I'm sure you never would have guessed since I never talk about him ;) ) although I am very homesick for the west coast! You guys all are making me jealous with all your mountain and scenic pictures! I'd love to join you guys! Me and Danny joined up at the YMCA and I have made it a goal to go at least 5 days a week (many time 6 days a week). Since we joined about 3-4ish months ago (i can't remember exactly) I have lost around 25lbs and dropped 3 pant sizes, I am finally able to fit into my pre Ethan pants/clothes (since I gained over 60lbs with him thankfully not all 60 were permanent!) YAY ME! I would still like to lose about another 10-15lbs. (but I've hit a weight loss plateau that has been hanging around for the last 3weeks! UGH) We'll see how that goes.....
Hope I haven't bore you all with my long post I know reading long posts can get old so I try to sum things up (and yet still manage to ramble) But ya'll (see I'm southern! ) are great and seem to be patient with it!

Great to hear what you are all up to! It's kind of scary that you have such a finicky little boy too. I've finally learned that Caleb has to be with me, when I'm buying clothes for him. If he doesn't like it he does NOT wear it. I can make him wear something to go somewhere ONLY if he knows he can change immidiately when we get home, and he does. Makes for a lot of laundry though, not too bad since he can't stand getting dirty!!!

Oh, and way to go on the weight loss! That's definately a hard thing to do. I can't stand trying to keep up with it! I love unhealthy food and hate excercise WAY too much!!!

Yes, I keep forgetting stuff! It sounds like Ethan is officially the same size as his almost 4 year old cousin, except Caleb FINALLY is fitting in 3T pants! Yeah!!!

you guys are such a cute family. and hey, it's a good thing I don't love my Danny for his hair either! haha! ok. the fact that Ethan calls phones hellos is so cute.

and seriously. you look so good! you must be working your butt off! I am totally impressed. what kind of workouts are you doing? I really need to get motivated to work out and eat healthy again. It's so hard! I am so proud of you. and don't worry about the plateau. i think that's really normal. If you just keep it up and maybe switch up your workouts a bit (I learned that your body essentially gets used to a workout if you keep the same routine too long), I bet you will get over this little slump. Not that you need to worry! you're doing awesome! way to go!
